My name is Denise Jung, I am a dedicated media designer, web developer, and web designer from Augsburg. I bring extensive knowledge in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience working with various content management systems such as WordPress, Shopware, and Typo3. With my trained eye for design and my skills in screen design, web design, as well as creating graphics and video animations, I strive to create creative and functional solutions for web projects.

Media Design

From a young age, I developed a passion for photography and image editing. After completing some amateur projects, I learned how to use Adobe tools for professional purposes and took my first steps into the professional world of media design. The increasing demand encouraged me to complete a media design education in Vienna, which I graduated with top marks. Before and during my education, I gained valuable experience at various agencies within the Kreativhaus in Vienna, which helped me launch my freelance career in 2011.

Web Development

My journey into web development began in 1997 as a hobby with HTML. With growing experience and initial projects, I expanded my knowledge to procedural scripts in PHP and MySQL. To further improve my skills, I completed courses and certifications with Dekra and Webmasters Europe in object-oriented programming with PHP and database development. Since then, I have implemented numerous projects using both my own CMS as well as established systems like Contao, Typo3, and WordPress, as well as the Symfony framework. In the e-commerce sector, I transitioned from xt to Shopware.
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are part of my standard toolkit, and I like to use tools such as Bootstrap and jQuery.

Another milestone in my career was being recognized as a trainer for IT specialists in application development at the IHK Schwaben in Augsburg. Here, I could pass on my passion for web programming to the next generation.
